package: pound
It has been 35 days since this was reported and there has been no reponse.
Simply stated, pound cannot be used reliably without the fixes in the
upstream bugfix release if:
1. we want any Firefox users to utilize SSL
2. we want any IE users to download files
3. we want to reliably use SOAP
It appears to me that the only package maintainer getting notified is
Sam Johnston <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Perhaps the other maintainers can be
added to the notification list of this package and other packages
maintained by Sam at least until he begins actively maintaining his
packages again. It looks like the last time Sam appears in the package
changelog is May 2004.
We need to fix the bug report notifications--this package is rapidly
gaining in popularity, even slashdot.org has started using pound.
