Package: gnus Version: 5.11+v0.10.d I use gnus with emacs, and for some reason when I installed gnus it also pulled in xemacs21.
If I try to remove xemacs21 it removes gnus. This might be as simple as "they are separate gnus packages, emacs has its own gnus", but that would be confusing: I am nervous about removing xemacs21 in case it messes up gnus. In this case a package rename of gnus to gnus-for-xemacs (or something like that) would make sense. Or it might be that gnus depends on xemacs21 specifically when instead it should just require some kind of emacs. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
