Subject: tripwire: No LFS support - exits on files > 2GB
Package: tripwire
Version: 2.4.2-9
Severity: important
Tags: lfs

When tripwire encounters a file > 2GB, it gives a seek error then exits:

# /usr/sbin/tripwire --init
Parsing policy file: /etc/tripwire/tw.pol
Generating the database...
*** Processing Unix File System ***
### Warning: File system error.

### Success
### Exiting...

# stat -c '%s' uspsams-data-2.84.01.M_all.deb

I have also tested this on the latest version from sid, 2.4.2.2-2. It gives the same results.

Jordan Metzmeier
