If you've deleted one which mucks up the dependency ordering, then there's not really much we can do in this case, though it might be possible to tighten the dependencies to prevent it misbehaving. bootmisc.sh is important, as are the -bootclean scripts. Note the warning in bootmisc.sh. If you add mountall-bootclean to $local_fs in /etc/insserv.conf, does this have any effect? Likewise for checkroot-bootclean. Regards, Roger -- .''`.
