Package: burp
Version: 1.3.8-1
Severity: important

The burp init.d stop script takes about 30 seconds to execute, so every shutdown
takes now 30 seconds more than before I installed this package. I found that
line 81 of the /etc/init.d/burp script seems to be the culprit:

start-stop-daemon --stop --quiet --oknodo --retry=0/30/KILL/5 --exec
$DAEMON

I tried to start burp and then execute the start-stop-daemon command without the
--retry option. The daemon was killed successfully and I didn't have to wait for
30 secs. Maybe this could be improved somehow?

Thanks,
Sylvain
