Actually it is even more, well, interesting.

For example, such slash appending affected one of my
bugs, 686524, -- after "found 686524 foo" control message
the list of versions this bug if fond it has grow to one
more version, "foo/".

So I tried to remove that version from the list,
sending a natural (to me) control message:

 notfound 686524 foo/
 thanks

Here's the reply from control bot:

--- begin ---
Processing commands for cont...@bugs.debian.org:

> notfound 686524 1.1.2+dfsg-1/
> thanks
Stopping processing here.

No commands successfully parsed; sending the help text(s).
Sending instructions for cont...@bugs.debian.org in separate message.
--- end ---

So, it isn't possible to remove such tagging, and
more, a valid command (but maybe with a bogus version
number) is int parsed correctly.

Thanks,

/mjt
