Hi Alex, I was testing your initial package [1] and it looks good.
However I found two issues: - perl-doc build-depend is missing - you should use Architecture:all for packages that are architecture-independent like interpreted languages (perl/python/bash..) I am attaching here the debdiff to fix this issues I encourage you to retry submitting a new version of your package to debian-mentors.
