Package: parted Version: 2.3-10 Followup-For: Bug #620273 I'm writing to confirm this bug. In my case it has to do with a specific usb flash drive. If the drive is plugged in, parted fails to start, otherwise it will start properly. I am leaving this flash drive unmodified to expedite testing and am willing to do whatever tests you'd like. I will have to check with the owner of the drive, but I may be able to provide a dd image of the drive if that will help.
