Package: ifupdown
Version: 0.7.2
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

my normal workflow when adding things to /e/n/i is to first edit
/e/n/i and then to do an sudo ifdown eth0 ; sudo ifup eth0. This
sometimes files when the things that were added are not present, thus
the commands to deconfigure the newly configured things fail.

It should be possible to have ifupdown ignore errors during one
certain run, allowing a workflow like sudo ifdown --ignore-errors
eth0; sudo ifup eth0.

Greetings
Marc
