firstly, thanks a lot for your reports.

Obviously, we are duplicating packaging efforts and it doesn't make sense.

David is the upstream author but also is in the maintainer list. He also
knows when a release is ready to be uploaded. So, I think the best
solution is wait for a new upload from him and, please David, drop me
from maintainer list of Atheist (btw, same issue with python-logging-extra).
