Hi,

JS engine is once again completely broken on ia64 since, at least,
commit 3c429287dfbe [1] that reverted changes allowing to turn off
static strings allocation [2]. Mike Hommey already pointed out this
issue for more than a year [3], but nobody seems to care about ia64
since then. That's for the static strings allocation part of the
original bugfix [4].

Now for the jemalloc.c part [5], looking at Mozilla Central history
[6], I can't track how/when the ia64 changes have been reverted!
