Package: libburn4 Version: 1.2.2-2 Severity: normal Tags: upstream patch Dear Debian folks,
Thomas Schmitt pointed out a bug in libburn 1.2.2 [2] that it always reports that 2048 bytes are reported to be missing when a premature ending occurs. This is fixed upstream in changeset 4762 [2] and libburn 1.2.4 contains the fix. As error reporting is essential for debugging burning issues and this is a library other applications use and the fix is simple, it would be awesome if this fix could be backported to 1.2.2 and could get a freeze exception to make it into Wheezy.
