Package: xfce4-appfinder Version: 4.8.0-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
not sure if bug#659926 is related, but when I dragndrop an item with xfce* items there are no icons visible (gnome-classic, be sure the Applications/SystemTools/Preferences/Advanced Settings is checked , and toggle it's first item to allow DragNDrop from the menu , a relogin is required) However, everything* else that gets dragged creates a flawless icon/link to their respective application.. (you may argue that i'm not using xfce, but ApplicationFinder is in the gnome-classic menu under Accessories :/ I notice something strange (the video i made below illustrates this), though there are "no" visible icons for xfce, the ".desktop" files are actually made for them in ~/Desktop . I illustrate that moving these problematic xfce .desktop links from ~/Desktop to ~/1 and then back again to ~/Desktop, .. still there are no visible icons (I'm guessing at least the xfce help application should be visible despite I'm not on xfce) I don't expect this bug to be important.. But apparently there is a problem when trying to make a DragNDrop copy of 'Web Browser'.. This application launches flawlessly in my gnome-classic environment and a dragNdrop of this shortcut should be allowed imho (There is another item called 'Web' and that drag-n-drops properly to the ~/Desktop properly, but not 'Web Browser') http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xaktzjJ5B8 -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_CA.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xfce4-appfinder depends on: ii libc6 2.13-35 ii libgarcon-1-0 0.1.12-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.32.3-1 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.10-2 ii libxfce4ui-1-0 4.8.1-1 ii libxfce4util4 4.8.2-1 ii libxfconf-0-2 4.8.1-1 xfce4-appfinder recommends no packages. xfce4-appfinder suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
