Oh, well... I spoke too soon. :(

Transgui worked for an hour or two, then I got a small empty window title "Error", then another one after I closed the first one, then it died. The mysterious part is that after that happened, I wasn't able to start it anymore. Now again it dies immediately after starting. Once again I tried removing .config directory, but again it doesn't help at all. Very strange.

I tried to prepare a debugging version by downloading source packages, playing with Makefile.fpc and building a package, but I failed. All I get is this:

(transgui:27729): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_realize: assertion `GTK_WIDGET_ANCHORED (widget) || GTK_IS_INVISIBLE (widget)' failed

If I'm to help debug this, I'll need your help first. How to build a debugging binary, so gdb can be helpful? I don't have any experience with fpc.
