Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
   I ran mklost+found
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
     Nothing
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   creat: File name too long
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
   That mklost+found would work.

*** End of the template - remove these lines ***

Running mklost+found gives a cryptic error message: creat: File name too long.
I know what that means what the program doesn't tell me is:
1) Which file's name is too long
2) Why it's too long
3) What I can do to remedy the problem.
