hi gaetan, this is my second attempt to contact you, as my previous attempt bounced from your mail server. if this second attempt does not make it through, i will close the bug as i will not be able to fix the problem without communicating with you. if it does make it through, here's what i said last time:

if you have a suggested change, please feel free to send me a patch
in diff -u format, and if it seems appropriate i'll go ahead and add
it in the next version i upload. i'll also take care of forwarding the
patch upstream with your comments and referencing this bug.
