Package: tar Version: 1.26-4 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? When I want to create archive with --numeric-owner option command line is blocked. tar --numeric-owner -czf archive.tgz sample_directory * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I can create archive only if I copy full command from clipboard to command line. This is not a big problem but it makes life difficult. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages tar depends on: ii libc6 2.13-35 tar recommends no packages.
