Package: backup-manager Version: 0.7.10.1-2 Severity: normal Dear maintainer,
When backup-manager is uploading archives to the ftp backup host, it cancels the upload process if the transfer of a file takes more than 120 seconds. Bigger files will interrupt the upload and thus leave the backup storage in an inconsistent state. The reason is the default timeout of the perl net::ftp package. As a workaround I suggest to raise the timeout from the default to a high enough value. This can be done by adding "Timeout => 86400" to line 577 of /usr/bin/backup-manager-upload.
