Calling "modprobe aes_generic" wasn't successful either. Rebooting into linux-image-3.2.0-4-686-pae solved the problem and I could connect. I though could connect to other WPA using wireless networks during the same kernel 3.6 session as the one which didn't work with that network. Another EeePC 701 with Debian Squeeze had no problems connecting either. -- Package-specific info:
