Package: gaim Version: 1.5.0-1 Severity: wishlist I just tried using gaim as an IRC client, which works nicely, except that I expected to be able to close the #aavso window without /parting that channel. I wanted either a new window to pop up when someone talked, or a log to be kept which I could review later, or an xchat-style "last read" line. If I close #aavso, there is some conversation in the channel, and then I reopen #aavso, I would like for, at least, the most recent part of that conversation to be immediately viewable, possibly with earlier parts which I'd seen before closing the channel.
