Howdy.

Seeing as how I needed to do this any way, I've gone ahead and put
together a .deb of the latest source as of 2013-01-23. I've submitted
the same source and patches to Fedora for inclusion there also, and
reconciled the patches so the same set is being used in both places
(apart from packaging differences).

The other thing I needed for my work is to enable the rest of the
commands in the ACPICA source. I fully expect to be using all of
them a lot over the next couple of years, it turns out.

Further, I've enabled some basic testing of the commands, and updated
the debian/rules file so it uses the newer, simpler debhelper.

I'm sure I could have done more. This is not completely lintian
clean (all warnings, but I dislike even those). However, I thought
you might find this useful since it would close this bug (#653227)
as well as bug #588388. Whether it will solve #407708 or not, I do
not know yet.

My updated versions of this package can be retrieved with:

$ dget http://downloads.ahs3.net/packages/acpica-tools/acpica-unix_20130123-1.dsc

Fedora versions are also available, if you need them.

Thanks.  Hope this helps.
