Package: network-manager Version: 0.9.4.0-8 Severity: important Hi,
I have newly installed Wheezy and the network manager is not able to connect to the network using the following Cardbus PCMCIA ethernet card: 06:00.0 Ethernet controller: Xircom Cardbus Ethernet 10/100 (rev 03) Subsystem: Xircom RealPort2 CardBus Ethernet 10/100 (R2BE-100) Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 9 I/O ports at 2000 [size=128] Memory at 18000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=2K] Memory at 18000800 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=2K] [virtual] Expansion ROM at 1c000000 [disabled] [size=16K] Capabilities: [dc] Power Management version 2 Kernel driver in use: xircom_cb The interface worked during the installation and bringing the interface up manually using ifconfig eth0 up; dhclient -v eth0 works as well. Uninstalling network-manager and installing wicd works as well. Other PCMCIA network cards are working as well.
