Package: gitolite
Version: 2.3-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

the user gitolite is not created on install because the admin key is not
defined. Please note that the key is not defined because there is no prompt
requesting the key on install.

After some discussions in #debian there are people saying that the key *should*
be asked for on install. And that the problem is related to debconf priority...

Running dpkg-reconfigure afterward did prompt for the information to create the
user, and when given the admin key the user was created successfully.

Best regards,

Bruno Ramos
