There is an mpd package:
 mpd | 0.16.7-2+b1 | wheezy  | armel, armhf, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390,
 sparc
  mpd | 0.16.7-2    | wheezy  | source, i386

Somehow amd64 got lost...
