It just hung without gkrellm! I logged in 6 times yesterday with gkrellm autostarting to see if I could reproduce the bug again, and it wouldn't hang. I disabled gkrellm autostarting, logged in today, and it hung.
I'm all confused now, but it's probably my own fault for changing too many variables at once. Since I made this bug report I've started using the Multiple Monitor Panels extension, the system-monitor extension, switched from gnome-terminal to xterm, and used gnome-tweak-tool to show the date in the clock. But... I think I'll just assume the hang today was a statistical anomaly and try to work around this by not using gkrellm (at least until I come to my senses and go back to Xfce or something). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
