Package: neverball
Version: 1.5.4-5
Severity: minor

When a level is launched, the player doesn't control the ball immediately. A woman says "Ready...set...Go!" then the level actually starts. Both the sound and the animation are really cool, however, the time taken by the sequence becomes more annoying than anything for veterans.

This is presumably why developers added the possibility to skip the sequence by clicking the primary (left) mouse button. This must have worked for me for as long as I used my mouse with my right hand. However, I just realized that this doesn't work anymore now that I hold my mouse with my left hand. In fact, it works, but I have to use the secondary button, that is... the left button. In other words, the button to expedite level start is constant, regardless of mouse handedness.

It's quite possible I took that many years to realize the bug due to distraction from #611514. In my setup, the fastest way to retry a level is currently to place the mouse on "Retry Level", to click 3 times with the primary button then to click once with the secondary button :-/

This is most likely an upstream bug.
