Package: polipo Version: 1.0.4.1-1.2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
In the default configuration (/etc/polipo/config), there is no limit in the amount of on-disk cache (/var/cache/polipo). This can cause problems. When downloading large amounts of data (such as DVD ISO files) on-disk cache can take up all available free space on the root partition. Thus making it difficult to run other programs, system updates and so on. I believe that the default configuration should not lead to such serious consequences especially for inexperienced users who will be hard to determine the source of the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages polipo depends on: ii dpkg 1.16.9 ii install-info 4.13a.dfsg.1-10 ii libc6 2.13-38 polipo recommends no packages. polipo suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/polipo/config changed: proxyAddress = "127.0.0.1" proxyPort = 8118 allowedClients = 127.0.0.1 allowedPorts = 1-65535 proxyName = "localhost" cacheIsShared = false socksParentProxy = "localhost:9050" socksProxyType = socks5 chunkHighMark = 67108864 diskCacheRoot = "" localDocumentRoot = "" disableLocalInterface = true disableConfiguration = true dnsUseGethostbyname = yes disableVia = true censoredHeaders = from,accept-language,x-pad,link censorReferer = maybe maxConnectionAge = 5m maxConnectionRequests = 120 serverMaxSlots = 8 serverSlots = 2 tunnelAllowedPorts = 1-65535 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
