Without the sample in question, there is very little that we can do about this problem. Nevertheless, please try to reproduce this issue with the /usr/bin/avplay utility as found in the libav-tools pacakge. Please also make sure that you have the 'libav-dbg' package installed. Then please follow the bug submission guidelines outlined on http://libav.org/bugreports.html. The guidelines also contain instructions how to generate a minimal sample that allows to reproduce the issue.
