Stefan, This bug you reported against the Debian samba package (http://bugs.debian.org/294821) seems pretty hard to reproduce as it needs to setup a dedicated server with a setup similar to yours.
Can you still reproduce it (possible on Debian sarge or later) or do you think it's probably over for ages? I don't propose closing it if you can't reproduce it anymore because it seems serious enough to be taken care of...at least trying to reproduce it.
