I forwarded this report upstream: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/8659 Care to submit a patch? > In the debian version, there was no mention of packages that are > required for building, and it takes some investigation to discover > what's missing. Debian is a binary distribution: we don't ship instructions about building packages in the packages themselves. However, Debian distributes its source, and source packages have build-dependencies (see the debian/control file), that you can easily install this way: # apt-get build-dep torsocks So, I'm calling that one not-a-bug. In the future, please try to file separate bug reports for separate problems, as it makes it much easier to deal with on our side. Thanks!
