Note that the timezone was changed from Europe/Paris to US/Central earlier this day. This may be related. But I'd expect logrotate to obviously consider UTC time when comparing dates; if it does, this cannot explain the above errors. -- Package-specific info: Contents of /etc/logrotate.d total 68 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 326 2011-12-29 11:14:59 apache2 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 173 2010-08-24 14:05:33 apt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 79 2008-12-05 03:15:35 aptitude -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 135 2009-09-02 12:40:34 consolekit -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 248 2009-05-25 08:45:40 cups -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 232 2010-07-30 18:34:11 dpkg -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 146 2008-09-30 13:57:49 exim4-base -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 126 2008-09-30 13:57:49 exim4-paniclog -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 338 2012-01-07 18:47:27 fail2ban -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 94 2008-05-16 17:34:00 hibernate -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 237 2012-04-18 07:44:05 leafnode -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 268 2011-09-14 18:07:37 monit -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 157 2009-11-25 08:38:59 pm-utils -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 94 2008-12-01 03:22:15 ppp -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1061 2008-03-07 15:36:28 psaccs_atop -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 512 2008-03-07 15:36:28 psaccu_atop -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 515 2011-05-30 12:11:24 rsyslog -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.8-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages logrotate depends on: ii anacron 2.3-19 ii base-passwd 3.5.26 ii cron [cron-daemon] 3.0pl1-124 ii libacl1 2.2.51-8 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libpopt0 1.16-7 ii libselinux1 2.1.9-5 Versions of packages logrotate recommends: ii bsd-mailx [mailx] 8.1.2-0.20111106cvs-1 logrotate suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/logrotate.conf changed: weekly rotate 52 create include /etc/logrotate.d /var/log/wtmp { missingok monthly create 0664 root utmp rotate 36 } /var/log/btmp { missingok monthly create 0660 root utmp rotate 36 } -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
