These are two different fullscreen modes. One is provided by the VNC Viewer internally, and the other is by your window manager. Their behaviors differ a bit, too. For example if your VNC resolution is smaller than your monitor resolution, the "window manager fullscreen" may not be available, whereas the internal one will work, and will fill the unused parts of the screen with black color. -- With respect, Roman
