Thank you! Indeed, I overlooked this bit. I fixed it now to read: """ The config default to allowing cached access from a local network to the archive server. """ which is more neutral. I wonder if it captures what I want to say namely that: You install squid-deb-proxy on the server and squid-deb-proxy-client and it just works(tm). I.e. there is a sensible (and secure) default configuration that will not open a general proxy in your network but just a very targeted one to get distribution updates.
