Package: linux
Version: 3.2.41-2
Severity: wishlist

in the current wheezy kernel there is no support for the Intel i210 and the Intel i217 NIC, which will ship on many of the upcoming Haswell mainboards.

It would be nice, given the pending release of wheezy, to have out of the box support for these NIC once Haswell mainboards become available.

Initial support was added mostly upstream kernel 3.5

a number of further patches further refined the initial support.

Markus
