I noticed in a recent package update that libintl-perl suggests linintl-xs-perl. If libintl-perl - as is often the case for Perl modules - automagically makes use of linintl-xs-perl when available, then I believe it is more appropriate to recommend it. If it doesn't, it is probably a good idea to suggest upstream to do so. If upstream does not make use of the XS module and also for some reason do not find it a good idea to do so, we probably shouldn't suggest it.
