Hello, I attempted to build the latest vim packages on my Ubuntu machine, and the patch proposed above in the thread failed, please find attached a corrected version.

I used the vim code from mercurial as of now (the 7.3 tag 940) against the latedt version available in Debian (tag 923) and the package names contain 923 instead of 940, even though the vim --version command shows the correct build, 940. Also, how can I generate the .changes file that I need in order to upload them into my PPA using dput?
