I think that 1.8.0 doesn't work with boost 1.53, we would need to upgrade to 1.8.1 for that (or backport a patch to work with that version of boost). I'm having some problems in my computer to build heavyish packages such as OGRE, that's why I didn't do it yet. I don't think that it's too much of a problem to wait a few weeks, but if you want to go ahead anyway it's fine by me, I don't want to set you back. Thanks for the offer, in any case.
