Package: libwebkitgtk-1.0-0 Version: 1.8.1-3.4 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
current stable version of WebKit-gtk suffers from upstream bug 94202, https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94202 which effectively renders any non-us non-english spellchecking unusable. I've backported patch proposed in upstream bug 94202 to wheezy's package, and it seems that it solves this issue indeed. I attach this patch to the bug report. Please consider fixing this WebKit-gtk issue in the next wheezy point release. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libwebkitgtk-1.0-0 depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.4.0-2 ii libc6 2.13-38 ii libcairo2 1.12.2-3 ii libdbus-1-3 1.6.8-1 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.100.2-1 ii libenchant1c2a 1.6.0-7 ii libfontconfig1 2.9.0-7.1 ii libfreetype6 2.4.9-1.1 ii libgail18 2.24.10-2 ii libgcc1 1:4.7.2-5 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libgeoclue0 0.12.0-4 ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1] 8.0.5-4 ii libglib2.0-0 2.33.12+really2.32.4-5 ii libgstreamer-plugins-base0.10-0 0.10.36-1.1 ii libgstreamer0.10-0 0.10.36-1.2 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.10-2 ii libicu48 4.8.1.1-12 ii libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0-0 1.8.1-3.4 ii libjpeg8 8d-1 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libpng12-0 1.2.49-1 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.38.1-2 ii libsqlite3-0 3.7.13-1+deb7u1 ii libstdc++6 4.7.2-5 ii libwebkitgtk-1.0-common 1.8.1-3.4 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1 ii libxml2 2.8.0+dfsg1-7+nmu1 ii libxrender1 1:0.9.7-1 ii libxslt1.1 1.1.26-14.1 ii libxt6 1:1.1.3-1 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.7.dfsg-13 Versions of packages libwebkitgtk-1.0-0 recommends: pn gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg <none> pn gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad <none> pn gstreamer0.10-plugins-base <none> pn gstreamer0.10-plugins-good <none> libwebkitgtk-1.0-0 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
