Source: html2text Version: 1.3.2a-15 Severity: wishlist Tags: patch Here's a patch which drops the quilt Build-Depends, and instead uses the 3.0 (quilt) source format to let dpkg-source take care of applying the patches. (It also includes a fix to make debian/rules obey DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=nocheck.)
Why I'd like to see this: the context is my pbuildd project, where the aim is to bootstrap the Debian archive from source packages and a minimal starting chroot created by debootstrap, with a minimum of downloading truly self-build-depending packages like gnat. Since html2text is a dependency of debhelper, that means I need to be able to bootstrap html2text very early in the process, where bootstrapping quilt isn't quite as easy. -- Daniel Schepler
