Performed a Normal upgrade from 2.3 to 2.10
ineffective: read all the docs and conf files installed by 2.10
effective:
found that 2.10 requires the following (new) stanza in main.cf to relay:
smtpd_relay_restrictions =
permit_mynetworks
permit_sasl_authenticated
reject_unauth_destination
(note that this is in addition to the standard smtpd_recipient_restrictions =
that is present in 2.3.
relay using saslauth started working again
