Hi all,

If you set <date> or <pubdate> explicitly, the date set there is used in
all places making the output consistent over all architectures
independent from the build time. If you want to omit a specific date
(why?), set an "empty" one (must contain at least a space otherwise
docbook-xsl will generate one) or customize the get.refentry.date
template yourself. I'll add a file to the package(s) called
docbook-multiarch.xsl doing the latter setting the Date variable to be
empty. Import this one in favor of docbook.xsl. Or alternatively use
faketime.

So there are several ways to achieve what you want. I'm consider all of
these possibilities valid solutions.

Regards, Daniel
