Source: allegro4.4 Version: 2:4.4.2-2.1 Severity: normal The name of the dev package liballegro4.2-dev was kept in the 4.2 -> 4.4 transition following advice from the release team. That's confusing and should be changed to liballegro4-dev. We can set for that package "Provides: liballegro4.2-dev", but that will not satisfy versioned build dependencies on liballegro4.2-dev. Right now, liballegro4.2-dev provides liballegro4-dev. That means the only build dependencies that will work before and after the renaming are unversioned ones on either of the names. I will file bugs against reverse dependencies with versioned build dependencies and use this bug to track them.
