On one VirtualBox instance, I compiled linux-image and linux-headers packages. They install just fine on that machine. I copied them to another VirtualBox machine set up basically the same, and it would not install successfully. It says it can't be installed because it depends on itself, and it's not installed. (lol)

Questions:

- Can you provide more information about the workaround?

- Is there any way I (as a non-coder) can accelerate this bug getting fixed?
