Package: lintian
Version: 2.5.13
Severity: serious

Admittedly only tested on git master, but the error "appeared on its
own" (with an "{cow,p}builder --update" in between). Notably, a new
version of binutils was uploaded recently and I suspect (without having
confirmed) that it is related.

The actual test failure is:

"""
$ debian/rules TEST_WORK_DIR=/tmp/lintian-tests runtests
onlyrun=binaries-general
private/generate-profiles.pl
.... running tests ....
rm -rf "/tmp/lintian-tests"
mkdir "/tmp/lintian-tests"
private/runtests -j 8 binaries-general

Not debugged any further than that.
