Hello, The Java bindings were split off the main archive in SimGrid v3.8. The bindings were not as stable as the rest of the archive at this point, and having it in the main distribution was slowing down the whole process and complicating things.
And now, these bindings are reintegrated in SimGrid v3.10 that is not released yet. It's kinda overkill to package the separate java package for v3.9 when 3.10 will deprecate this all. You can try to use simgrid.jar file found on the simgrid website, it may be sufficient. If not, please report so that we improve this, at least. I will (as one of the upstream authors) is to try hurying a bit the release of v3.10 to sort it out...
