Package: man-db
Version: 2.6.3-7
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/bin/whatis

Dear Maintainer,

I think the man page description for the whatis command is a little bit
ambiguous.

The short descriptin in the NAME section

whatis - display manual page descriptions

could also mean that it displays the descriptions in the DESCRIPTION section.

It would be better to write something like this

whatis - display short man page name description

Greetings and thanks
jb
