Package: vpnc Version: 0.3.3+SVN20051028-1 Severity: important Hello!
I don't remember correctly since which version (I'm sorry, I don't use VPNC as often), but I'm sure the last time I got it working was around June 2005. Anyway, now I can't connect anymore. Here the log (--debug gives the same, so I used a "normal" one). ===== gismo:/home/luca# vpnc-connect /etc/vpnc/unige.conf Enter password for [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Connect Banner: | University of Geneva | | Unauthorized Access | is Prohibited | | (HELPDESK 022 379 7000) | | Updated VPN client software: | ftp://antivirus.unige.ch/pub/vpn/ | RTNETLINK answers: Network is unreachable RTNETLINK answers: No such device VPNC started in background (pid: 15698)... gismo:/home/luca# ping www.google.com connect: Network is unreachable gismo:/home/luca# route Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 128.178.192.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 wired gismo:/home/luca# ifconfig lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:1238 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:1238 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:98949 (96.6 KiB) TX bytes:98949 (96.6 KiB) tun0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 inet addr:129.194.216.16 P-t-P:129.194.216.16 Mask:255.255.255.255 UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1390 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:500 RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b) wifi Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx inet6 addr: fe80::20c:f1ff:fe55:ec89/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:29388 errors:39 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:41 errors:0 dropped:17 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:2761755 (2.6 MiB) TX bytes:3160 (3.0 KiB) Interrupt:11 Base address:0x4000 Memory:c0214000-c0214fff wired Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx inet addr:128.178.192.100 Bcast:128.178.192.255 Mask:255.255.255.0 inet6 addr: fe80::20d:60ff:feff:fd66/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:20128 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:6450 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:7973765 (7.6 MiB) TX bytes:683703 (667.6 KiB) Base address:0x8000 Memory:c0220000-c0240000 gismo:/home/luca# cat /etc/vpnc/default.conf IPSec gateway 192.33.214.142 IPSec ID unige2002 IPSec secret pwd Xauth username capello # OPTIONAL # ======== # # # Varios options not undestood by vpnc itself but by some other #scripts # # Target networks 123.234.210.0/24 10.1.0.0/16 # If Target networks is defined here, the default route is not #replaced! # Don't update resolv.conf though resolvconf is installed DNSUpdate no ===== If I missed something during upgrades, please excuse me.
