Hi. Apparently, GNU fdisk has been re-written from scratch: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-fdisk/2011-10/msg00000.html and is now available in 2.0.0a1: https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-fdisk/2011-12/msg00000.html It could possibly fix the critical bug #504099... but it seems it's alpha and "there is still no user interface"... whatever this means (no curses interface??).
