FYI (to #573269 ), I had pidgin running without problems on squeeze, but after dist-upgrading to wheezy I've run into this problem. Doing what's said in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=573269#52 (running gstreamer-properties , closing it, and running pidgin again) fixed this for me. I haven't rebooted the machine yet. Before trying this, I tried to simply remove .gstreamer0.10 , but that didn't solved the issue with pidgin.
Also (to #578476 ), > Anyway, I don't think this is still a problem since 0.10.28. That might be the case, but this is affecting debian stable, which has 0.10.23: gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad/stable uptodate 0.10.23-7.1 libgstreamer-plugins-bad0.10-0/stable uptodate 0.10.23-7.1 Best regards, -- Marcos Marado -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
