Hi Bart, Thank you for adding some information about how to deal with the problem to
https://wiki.debian.org/qa.debian.org/HowToHelpWithFixingWatchFiles However I feel that your explanation is incomplete and allow room for disagreement with maintainer. For example, in the particular case of "cuetools" package, "updated debian/watch" file suggest fixing old mirror that shall be removed completely in the future. Since "cuetools" package is team (un-)maintained future uploaders will be inevitably confused with such suggestion. Therefore there shall be open(!) procedure to remove such files, otherwise the only way I see to do that is to file a bug report. I do not understand why are you hiding information how to remove updated watch files from PTS. It is not good that you're appears to be the only person who posses this knowledge. Also I must mention that we had this discussion before in private email where you ignored my question at least three times in a row. This bug report is yet another call for transparency. -- All the best, Dmitry Smirnov. --- Belief is the death of intelligence. -- Robert Anton Wilson -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
